Meet some of the great people behind SCM. You will most likely encounter them hosting an upcoming event!

Dawn Dawn was hesitant about attending her first SCM event. She is a little on the quiet side so was intimidated by all the people. Although she was there on her own, she found herself immediately surrounded by smiling friendly people. What a welcoming experience! She is a huge fan of the Pub Mixers, the nice dinners, and her favorite of favorites is the Limo Scavenger Hunt. What a great experience-sharing a fantastically fun time in a limo, trying to decipher riddles while traveling around Seattle with a bunch of new-found friends. Highly recommended! When she is not attending SCM events she can often be found partner-dancing. Salsa and swing are her favorites and Tango is her new-found passion. She also enjoys rock climbing, camping, snow-mobiling, and volunteering. What's most important to her is getting the most out of life and that includes meeting new people that become good friends to experience this wonderful world of ours with. SCM has been a terrific source of friendships, entertainment and growth for her. Dawn loves hosting events because she enjoys helping to create that awesome sense of being included that she felt in those very first events when she didn't know a soul.	Kimberlee Kimberlee joined SCM in 2005. She enjoys volunteering to host the events because she never knows who she will meet in the ever changing mix of people attending. She has met some wonderful friends while hosting the Women's Brunch. Kimberlee truly enjoys being a native of the PNW. When the weather is nice she spends the afternoons at Greenlake with her doggie, Lilly, an Imperial Shih Tzu. In the summertime, she likes to go camping, play tennis and is learning to play golf. She also enjoys getting dressed up for a night on the town, for dinner and the theatre. And time with her friends is a must!
Shannon Shannon is a Producer in the Seattle film industry (yes, there actually is a film industry here), and is often called a Renaissance Woman- "a term used to describe a person well educated, or who excels, in a wide variety of subjects or fields." She is as comfortable packing wheel bearings as she is hosting large events, and owns more power tools and high heels than is practical. She delights in partner dancing, giving her dog weird things to eat, wine and cheese, volunteering, cooking elaborate meals, playing dress-up, raw fish and rare beef, things on or in the water, listening to your story, and doing things better than boys. She stumbled onto her first Space City Mixer event St. Patrick's Day 2003, and has been attending and hosting events ever since. She loves events where she gets a chance to learn something new and meet interesting people. Shannon believes that SCM is the cure for the "Seattle Freeze," for singles, couples, and anyone just looking to connect with other people in a fun and low-stress way. The Limo Scavenger Hunt and Cooking With Anita are not to be missed. At events, she's usually the one with the biggest hat.	Tammy Tammy loves traveling � so much so that she is usually planning her next vacation as soon as she gets back from one. She especially enjoys sunny, warm places where she can get her beach on. She also loves dancing (especially to disco or top 40), reading (literature, horror and romance are her favorites) and pushing herself to try things that terrify her (doing a 632-foot base jump in New Zealand ended up being exhilarating). Her guilty pleasures include reality TV and Ben and Jerry�s oatmeal cookie ice cream. Her favorite area hot spots include The Parlor and the Shark Club on the Eastside and Amber, Del Rey, Trinity, Belltown Billiards, Ballroom and Viceroy in Seattle. Nothing better than happy hour or dancing at one of these fun spots.
